AutoX Provides 2,100 Free Motorcycle Oil Changes for Flood-Affected Communities

In an effort to support people in Northern Vietnam affected by floods and storms, AutoX lubricant brand has announced program offering 2,100 free motorcycle oil changes across seven provinces and cities.

AutoX, a Swiss lubricant brand, stated that in solidarity with flood-affected communities in the North, the company is implementing a free oil change program for motorcycles damaged by heavy rains and flooding. Accordingly, AutoX is collaborating with local service shops to provide free oil changes for motorcycles in seven severely affected localities, including Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Hanoi.

Motorcycle owners whose vehicles were affected after the flood season will receive 100% free oil changes for both the engine and gearbox. The program will take place over three days, from September 19 to 21, with 300 free oil change slots available in each province or city (100 slots per day per location). The total value of the program is VND 378 million.

Currently, donation and support activities for flood-affected communities in Northern Vietnam are being actively carried out nationwide. Preliminary estimates indicate that property damage caused by Storm No. 3 amounts to approximately VND 40 trillion. The damage includes around 257,000 houses, 1,300 schools, and numerous infrastructure facilities being collapsed or damaged; 305 dyke incidents, mainly involving major dykes classified as Grade III and above; more than 262,000 hectares of rice fields, crops, and fruit trees flooded or destroyed; over 2,200 aquaculture cages damaged or swept away; nearly 2.3 million livestock and poultry lost; and approximately 310,000 urban trees uprooted or broken.
